  1. 1、Operation of public charging infrastructure
As of the end of November 2025, the total number of electric vehicle charging infrastructure (ports) in China reached 19.322 million, a year-on-year increase of 52.0%. Among them, public charging infrastructure (ports) stood at 4.625 million, up 36.0% year-on-year; the total rated power of public charging piles hit 2.10 billion kilowatts, with an average power of about 45.34 kilowatts per pile. Private charging infrastructure (ports) reached 14.697 million, a year-on-year rise of 57.8%, and the reported installed electricity capacity for private charging

  2. 2、infrastructure amounted to 1.29 billion kilovolt-amperes.
  3. Operation of public charging infrastructure by province, autonomous region and municipality
The top 10 regions in terms of public charging infrastructure construction – Guangdong, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Shandong, Shanghai, Henan, Sichuan, Anhui, Hubei and Fujian – accounted for 66.0% of the national total. National charging power volume was mainly concentrated in Guangdong, Jiangsu, Hebei, Sichuan, Zhejiang, Shanghai, Shandong, Fujian, Henan, Shaanxi and other provinces, with power consumption mainly for buses and passenger cars, while sanitation & logistics vehicles, taxis and other vehicle types accounted for a relatively small share. The national total charging power volume in November 2025 was approximately 8.44 billion kilowatt-hours, an increase of 350 million kilowatt-hours from the previous month, representing a 62.5% year-on-year growth and a 4.3% month-on-month growth.

  4. 3、Operation of public charging infrastructure operators
As of November 2025, the top 15 charging operation enterprises in China by the number of operating charging piles are as follows: TELD (871,000 piles), Star Charge (726,000 piles), Cloud Express Charging (693,000 piles), Didi Charging (300,000 piles), Weijing Cloud (257,000 piles), State Grid Corporation of China (196,000 piles), Lv Chongchong (165,000 piles), Shenzhen Vehicle Grid (108,000 piles), Hui Charging (100,000 piles), China Southern Power Grid (90,000 piles), EV Power (81,000 piles), Kunlun Network Power (78,000 piles), Wancheng Wanchong (55,000 piles), Haihuide (53,000 piles) and Weilan Express Charging (53,000 piles). These 15 enterprises accounted for 83.3% of the national total number of operating charging piles, while the remaining operators made up 16.7%.

  5. 4、Overall operation of charging infrastructure
From January to November 2025, the newly added charging infrastructure reached 6.504 million units, a year-on-year increase of 73.2%. Among them, the newly added public charging infrastructure was 1.046 million units, up 42.4% year-on-year, and the newly added private charging infrastructure stood at 5.458 million units, a year-on-year rise of 80.7%. As of the end of November 2025, the total number of electric vehicle charging infrastructure (ports) in China reached 19.322 million, a year-on-year growth of 52.0%.

  6. 5、Comparison between charging infrastructure and electric vehicles
From January to November 2025, the newly added charging infrastructure reached 6.504 million units, and the domestic sales of new energy vehicles hit 12.466 million units, showing the rapid and simultaneous growth of both charging infrastructure and new energy vehicles in China. The increment ratio of charging piles to new energy vehicles was 1:1.9, indicating that the construction of charging infrastructure can basically meet the rapid development of the new energy vehicle industry.
