1. Operation Status of Public Charging Infrastructure   In February 2025, the number of public charging piles increased by 72,000 units compared to January 2025, with a year-on-year growth rate of 35.6%. As of February 2025, member units within the alliance have reported a total of 3,832,000 public charging piles, including 1,758,000 DC piles and 2,074,000 AC piles. From March 2024 to February 2025, the average monthly new public charging piles were approximately 84,000 units.   2. Provincial/Regional Operation Status of Public Charging Infrastructure  The top 10 regions in public charging pile construction—Guangdong, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Shanghai, Shandong, Henan, Hubei, Anhui, Sichuan, and Beijing—account for 67.8% of the national total. National charging power is mainly concentrated in provinces such as Guangdong, Jiangsu, Hebei, Sichuan, Zhejiang, Shanghai, Shandong, Fujian, Henan, and Shaanxi. The power is primarily consumed by buses and passenger vehicles, with smaller proportions used by sanitation logistics vehicles, taxis, and other types of vehicles. In February 2025, the national total charging power was approximately 5.51 billion kWh, a decrease of 490 million kWh from the previous month, with a year-on-year growth rate of 51.3% and a month-on-month decline of 8.1%.   3. Operation Status of Public Charging Infrastructure Operators As of February 2025, the top 15 national charging operators by the number of piles operated are: Teld New Energy (735,000 units), Star Charge (650,000 units), Yunkuaichong (604,000 units), Xiao Ju Charging (229,000 units), Weijingyun (210,000 units), State Grid (196,000 units), Lvchongchong (111,000 units), Southern Power Grid (90,000 units), Shenzhen Chediwang (90,000 units), Huichongdian (90,000 units), EV Energy (79,000 units), Wancheng Wanchong (54,000 units), Weilan Kuai Chong (52,000 units), Kunlun Wangdian (49,000 units), and Junyuechong (46,000 units). These 15 operators account for 85.8% of the total, while other operators account for 14.2%.   4. Overall Operation Status of Charging Infrastructure   From January to February 2025, the increment of charging infrastructure was 634,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 48.4%. Among them, the increment of public charging piles was 253,000 units, with a year-on-year growth rate of 153.0%, and the increment of private charging piles with vehicle purchases was 381,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 16.4%. As of February 2025, the cumulative number of national charging infrastructure reached 13,451,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 49.1%.   5. Comparison Between Charging Infrastructure and Electric Vehicles In February 2025, the increment of charging infrastructure was 634,000 units, and the domestic sales of new energy vehicles reached 1,554,000 units. Both charging infrastructure and new energy vehicles continued to grow rapidly. The increment ratio of piles to vehicles was 1:2.5, indicating that charging infrastructure construction can basically meet the rapid development of new energy vehicles.
