1、As of the end of October 2025, China's total number of electric vehicle charging infrastructure (ports) reached 18.645 million, marking a year-on-year increase of 54.0%. Among these, public charging facilities (ports) totaled 4.533 million, up 39.5% year-on-year, with the total rated power of public charging piles reaching 203 million kilowatts, averaging approximately 44.69 kilowatts. Private charging facilities (ports) numbered 14.112 million, up 59.4% year-on-year, with the installed power capacity of private charging facilities reaching 124 million kilovolt-amps.
2、The operational status of public charging infrastructure across provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities shows that the top 10 regions—Guangdong, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Shandong, Shanghai, Henan, Sichuan, Anhui, Hubei, and Hebei—account for 66.1% of the public charging facilities built. Nationwide, charging electricity is primarily concentrated in provinces such as Guangdong, Jiangsu, Hebei, Sichuan, Zhejiang, Shanghai, Shandong, Fujian, Henan, and Shaanxi, with the majority allocated to buses and passenger vehicles, while other types like sanitation logistics vehicles and taxis account for a smaller proportion. By October 2025, the total national charging electricity reached approximately 8.1 billion kWh, an increase of 420 million kWh from the previous month, marking a year-on-year growth of 62.1% and a month-on-month growth of 5.5%.

4、Overall Operation of Charging Infrastructure: From January to October 2025, the incremental capacity of charging infrastructure reached 5.827 million units, marking a year-on-year increase of 77.2%. Among this, public charging facilities saw an incremental growth of 954,000 units (43.4% YoY), while private charging facilities added 4.873 million units (85.8% YoY). By the end of October 2025, China's total electric vehicle charging infrastructure (sockets) had reached 18.645 million units, reflecting a 54.0% year-on-year growth.
5、Comparison Between Charging Infrastructure and Electric Vehicles (January to October 2025): The incremental growth of charging infrastructure reached 5.827 million units, while domestic sales of new energy vehicles totaled 10.929 million units. Both charging infrastructure and new energy vehicles continued rapid expansion. The ratio of charging stations to vehicles stood at 1:1.9, indicating that charging infrastructure development can generally meet the rapid growth of new energy vehicles.
