In October 2025, the total car sales in the European automotive market (EU+Nordic+UK) reached 1.092 million, an increase of 4.9%. Supported by China's exports of batteries and electric vehicles, the growth of new energy vehicles in Europe is good, while traditional fuel vehicles continue to decline.
The sales of pure electric vehicles reached 225000 units, a significant increase of 32.9% year-on-year;
The sales volume of plug-in hybrid products reached 116500 units, with a year-on-year increase of up to 40.2%;
The sales of hybrid models reached 373000 units, with a growth rate of 7.5%.
The sales of traditional gasoline vehicles in Europe continue to decline, with gasoline vehicle sales reaching 268500 units, a year-on-year decrease of 14.9%, and diesel vehicle sales reaching 78000 units, a decrease of 22.2%.
Pure electric BEVs are dominated by the three core markets of Germany, the UK, and France, with a combined market share of over half and maintaining strong growth of 20% -60%; High penetration countries such as the Netherlands and Denmark continue to steadily advance, but Norway has experienced a slight decline.
